Bit’s Dancing Junebug

This gelding is a fun, personable ATHLETE! Registered half Arabian/QH gelding. 9 years old, 15.2H.

(To be detailed, his dam is a grade Quarter Pony that is a registered Galiceno and is a many time champion Barrel horse).

One owner. He’s been shown at an open show in Ranch riding, as well as at an obstacle trail show. Lots of trail miles, ranch pleasure type training, and a very well handled, loved and cared for life. Sound. Healthy. No vices - good in a stall or pasture. Good with other horses. Easy to catch. Ties patiently all day, hobbles front and back. Neck reins. Rides in a rope halter. This is a very solid and well-rounded horse!

National caliber for the Ranch division (including the cow work), along with Western Dressage. He would be a seriously strong competitor for NATRC/ competitive trail or mid-pack endurance. He’d be good for team sorting, or any all around type of event. Or just be a really fun and capable partner to try any athletic event you can dream up… He is a super mover with a strong hind end and free shoulder, wants to travel level and use himself. Pretty neck and balanced build with great feet and legs. Self-confident, personable and intelligent.

This guy is not spooky, he’s well trained, doesn’t do anything scary (no buck rear shy or bolt) and the sky is the limit for his potential- but I suggest him for a fairly confident intermediate rider because he IS intelligent and will test his rider ocassionally to see if maybe he doesn’t have to work as hard as you might think he should that day (he gives in as soon as he knows it’s not gonna work, no nasty to him just a bit too smart for a rider who doesn’t know better!), that said, he’s not a lazy horse he’s just a typical guy - who would rather drink beer and shoot pool then he would muck stalls and throw hay… but with incentive he’ll do anything you ask with very little complaint 😂🩷

For the right partner; this horse is an absolute dream. Sound, barefoot, no maintenance. JUNEBUG is looking for his forever partner and friend to go and do and try anything you two can dream up!
